Quick Troubleshooting

App Won't Launch

  • macOS: Check System Settings → Privacy & Security
  • Windows: Verify .NET 8.0 is installed
  • Both: Try restarting your computer

No Photos Appearing

  1. Verify folder contains supported image formats (JPG, PNG, HEIC, GIF, etc.)
  2. Check folder permissions (especially on macOS)
  3. Wait for initial scan to complete (check status indicator)

Slow Performance

  1. Reduce scan performance settings in Preferences
  2. Close other resource-intensive apps
  3. Check if external drive connection is stable
  4. Consider reducing number of selected folders
