Quick Troubleshooting
App Won't Launch
- macOS: Check System Settings → Privacy & Security
- Windows: Verify .NET 8.0 is installed
- Both: Try restarting your computer
No Photos Appearing
- Verify folder contains supported image formats (JPG, PNG, HEIC, GIF, etc.)
- Check folder permissions (especially on macOS)
- Wait for initial scan to complete (check status indicator)
Slow Performance
- Reduce scan performance settings in Preferences
- Close other resource-intensive apps
- Check if external drive connection is stable
- Consider reducing number of selected folders
