Troubleshooting Installation

macOS Issues

Problem: "Cannot open Rando because the developer cannot be verified"

  • Solution: This shouldn't happen with App Store apps, but if it does, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Security and click "Open Anyway"

Problem: App Store download fails

  • Solution: Check your internet connection and available storage space (need ~50MB free)

Windows Issues

Problem: Microsoft Store won't open

  • Solution: Run Windows Update first, then try again

Problem: .NET 8.0 installation fails

  • Solution: The app should install this automatically, but you can download it manually from microsoft.com/net
